Deep fried chicken recipe
500g Chicken thigh
80ml Japanese soy sauce (please read below)
A pinch of Salt & Paper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Corn starch or gluten free corn flour
Grated ginger (optional)
Dice the chicken into small squares. Add a pinch of salt & pepper. Then add other ingredients.
Coat the chicken well and leave in the fridge for least 15 minutes to marinate.
Either of these Japanese soy sauces are good!
'Kikkoman' soy sauce
ALDI Japanese style soy sauce
Coat the chicken in flour.
*Please note. For crispier chicken fry it twice.
Fry the chicken for roughly 2 minutes at 160˚C to 170˚C. Leave the chicken to drain.
Heat the oil to 190˚C and fry the chicken for a second time for roughly 1 minute.
Your chicken is now ready to eat!
