I can talk about my likes and dislikes using the conjunction 'demo'.

Greeting in Japanese – mark roll, re- introduce myself – (5 min)

Onamae wa nan desu ka? + gestures Revise as a whole group (10 min)

Revise numbers to 12. Counting & mnemonics (10 min)

Nan sai desu ka? Song (10 min)Nan sai desu ka? Song

Students learn to ask ‘Nan sai desu ka’  _____ sai desu.

Revise  ‘personality adjective’ language + gestures (20 min)

 I can share my name.

I can share my age.

I can share whether I am a boy or a girl.

Greeting in Japanese – mark roll, introduce myself – (10 min)

Language Focus ; Onamae wa – whole group (5 min)

Nan sai desu ka? Song.  Nan sai desu ka? Song (2 min)

Language Focus – Nan sai desu ka - Practice with a friend. (3 min)

Introduce Kamishibai (5 min)

Kaguyahime Story  (15 min)

Writing about Kaguyahime (15 min) Give out Kaguyahime picture – students write about this.

Include onna no ko/otoko no ko
