Lesson 2

Revise - ga suki desu/ ga suki janai desu - practice with buddy (2 min)

Introduce nan sai desu ka? Video (2 min)

Nan sai desu ka? Song (5 min)

Focus language - Nan sai desu ka? ____ sai desu. Students write this in the books and practice asking a friend. (10min)

Nan sai desu ka? Game (15 min) Students must find their 'age' buddy. Each child is given an age card and they move around the room asking 'Nan sai desu ka?' They must find their 'age buddy' and sit down once they have found them.

I can ask someone's age and share my own.

I can translate between Japanese and English.

I can ask someone's age using 'Nan sai desu ka' and share my own using '_____ sai desu.
